Continuing Medical Education
RLMI’s evidence-based courses in Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (LM) give practitioners the knowledge and skills to help patients help themselves and take charge of their own health. In the process, practitioners experience a renewed Joy of Practice, less burnout, and earn up to 34 AMA PRA Category Credit(s)™ as well as maintenance of certification (MOC) of the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM) and national certification bodies (ABLM, ACLM, BSLM, PCLM, etc.).
The Jumpstart Program is a two-week program that is proven to prevent, arrest, and even reverse chronic disease, all through teaching a simple, whole-food plant-based way of eating. Gain knowledge and develop skills to adopt a whole-food, plant-based diet that you can apply in patient care, while earning 10 AMA PRA CME and IBLM MOC credits! The interactive 15-Day Jumpstart is certified by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) and takes place over Zoom. Learn more about the Jumpstart Program HERE
Jumpstarting Health: Foundations covers the observational evidence for a plant-based diet. Medical professionals may receive up to 14 CME and IBLM credits for taking this course. This self-paced online course covers a wide range of topics including lectures on the history and rationale behind whole food, the observational evidence supporting plant-based nutrition, behavior change, de-prescribing, and the critiques of the healthcare system.
The Lift Project is an ACLM-certified program that teaches strategies to improve mood and reduce stress using the latest findings from positive psychology, neuroscience, and lifestyle medicine. RLMI’s facilitated version meets one hour per week for ten weeks of interactive Zoom meetings and is given several times a year. Medical professionals may receive up to 10 CME and IBLM credits by participating. Registration is only $99 for qualified medical professionals.
Important notes regarding CME credit:
To qualify for CME credit you need to attend all 10 hours of live Jumpstart program sessions.
If you miss a session, email us at help@roclifemed.org, and we'll send a link to a future session to meet the requirements.
On day 15 of the program, you will receive a link to a CME questionnaire. If you fulfilled 10 hours of live participation, you may complete the CME questionnaire, and a certificate is sent to your email. If you do not want CME credit, you do not need to fill out the CME questionnaire.
Attendance is taken at each Jumpstart session and RLMI may audit attendance to confirm the required hours were met to qualify for CME credit.
